Kerfoot Overseas LLP come to HQ

Since opening our subsidiary office in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, 6 years ago Kerfoot Overseas LLP has gone from strength to strength.  Between the three employees over there, Christina Baciu, Aliona Mocanu and Victoria Ghetu, they focus on the Kerfoot Speciality Oils division.  Christina leads the Eastern European, Russian and Middle Eastern sales portfolio for the area while her two colleagues focus on the hugely important technical requirements, documentation and administration

The Bedale Bandit

A 540 metric tonne barge is the innovative approach The Kerfoot Group have taken to store additional edible oil at their Bulk Oils terminal in the Port of Goole, East Yorkshire.  The Bedale Bandit, named after the market town where the Company was founded, is now fundamental to the operational facility of the Group given the aggressive growth they have achieved over the previous few years.

This innovation however did not come easily.  The barge originates from Poland in the Gdansk

So as well as being uber-busy with our new website we have also very recently launched an upgraded fleet of vehicles incorporating our new motherbrand.  Across both our HGV curtain-sided vehicles and our bulk road tankers, the It’s Incredible theme is now on the roads across the UK and continent.

I like to keep a check on the Logistics division great pride and joy so I am constantly asking the commercial teams when they are out and about

Background: Our shea butter is a direct produce from communities in Africa. The product provides a number of jobs for a society of women who collectively harvest the shea nuts themselves. This incessantly growing ingredient has become the base oil/butter of a variety of cosmetic and food formulations making the shea nut/butter a very significant export product for Africa.

Background: A by-product of the chocolate industry provides cosmetic formulators with this versatile ingredient obtained initially from the fruit of the Cacao tree. Cupuacu Butter

(Theobroma Grandiflorum)

Background: A creamy and emollient butter our cupuacu butter is obtained from the fruit seed found growing wild in the Brazilian Amazon.

Properties/Benefits: The butter has a high capacity for water consumption meaning it is a great emollient for cosmetic formulations and is an effective alternative to lanolin. It promotes a smoothness and softness to skin and hair.
