Well perhaps surprisingly, the bulk of our edible oils arrive by ship into our terminal in Goole, UK.

This slick operation begins with our Trading Division purchasing oils many months in advance, allowing our Logistics Division ample opportunity to arrange delivery of up to 2500MT of oil in one ship.

Here at the Kerfoot Group we love a healthy workforce so we encourage our employees to get plenty of exercise. Background:
The origin of maize is unknown, however it was discovered by Columbus’s men in Cuba in 1492.

Linseed Oil

(Linum usitatissimum)

Background:
It is important to distinguish between linseed and flaxseed oil. Both oils come from the same seed, but flaxseed oil is raw, cold pressed oil. Linseed oil is heated and subjected to chemical treatment.
Linseed is native to Europe and Asia, but is cultivated worldwide for its fibre, seeds and seed oil.
Linseed oil can be golden yellow, brown or amber in colour.

Background:
The Kombo plant is found across many areas of West Africa, including Angola and Uganda. The Kerfoot Group’s Kombo butter comes from Ghana.
