Bumper cars, waltzers & a carousel… fish & chips & a hog roast (made with Kerfoot oil of course!)… surf simulator & bungee trampoline… candy floss & strawberries & cream…. bouncy castles & hay bailes… welcome to #kerfest!
Everyone at The Kerfoot Group brought their families along to Escrick Park last Saturday for an afternoon of family fun courtesy of our Chief Executive Jennifer.
The face painting tent, for all ages, had a queue that never disappeared all afternoon but fortunately the magician who created all realms of characters & images from balloons kept everyone entertained. And for those who didn’t fancy doing much other than enjoying the glorious Yorkshire sunshine the live music from two local bands on the back of a Kerfoot trailer, which was appropriately located next to the bar, kept us brilliantly entertained. The popcorn cart didn’t stop popping as #kerfest-goers walked around the grounds contemplating what to do next. A yurt was the spot for our sophisticated colleagues who enjoyed afternoon tea in pretty bunting surroundings but it seemed the surf simulator provided the best opportunity for some photos of our Chief Exec.!
There wasn’t one mini-#kerfest guest who hadn’t explored our Kerfoot tanker & peeped the horn… in fact forget the mini-guests, all ages were in the cab having a go! There were some great inter-divisional challenges on the bumper cars & some impressive stamina from the management on the waltzers.
Transport was even provided for all of us, so with the kids over-dosed on adrenalin & ice cream we could ensure that the Kerfoot bar wasn’t left with too much excess at the end of the day!
It’s really clear that family is so important to everyone at The Kerfoot Group so having an opportunity to bring our families to #kerfest, introduce them to our colleagues in & amongst enjoying the Kerfoot hospitality made for a perfect Saturday afternoon.
