Children in Need 2015
It’s no secret that we are a charitable bunch here at The Kerfoot Group; we love nothing more than raising money for good causes. Particularly as it’s an excuse to eat cake and be a bit silly! So on Friday 13th November; YES! I said Friday 13th the whole team were thrilled to take part in Children in Need 2015.
The staff at Goole did there bit by producing a fantastic arrangement of cakes and pastries baked by Justine, Gemma and Nicola’s mother. Alongside the cakes, Mandy, Danielle and Justine organised a raffle of other goodies and the lucky winners were Stuart Butler, Craig Hudson and Denys Kay.
There were plenty of delicious cakes and biscuits at The Olive House, some containing Kerfoot Oil, that had be baked by Liam, Jo D, Mary, Eleanor, Lisa Mulcahy and Emma. We had some seriously healthy competition on show.
To build up the funds we had a sweepstake running for a week, the two winners were Anthony Lawrence and Liam Snaith, they each received wine and chocolates – mention chocolates at The Kerfoot Group and you can easily raise the funds.
Between Goole and Northallerton we were absolutely thrilled that the day raised £198.88. What an incredible way to help a very deserving cause.
We can’t wait until next year now, although I’m not sure how we’ll top that!
