Quality Control Technician, Goole

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Control Technician to join The Kerfoot Group Technical & Quality Department, working specifically within our Kerfoot Speciality Oils division, based at our New Potter Grange site in Goole, East Yorkshire.  Our Technical & Quality department focuses on the control, quality and safety of the oils we supply to both the food and cosmetic manufacturing industries.

It is essential that the successful candidate has experience of working within a quality management system, including experience of ensuring product safety in a food or a personal care background.  The qualifications and skills required to set up a small physical and chemical laboratory would also be required.

Group Human Resources Manager, Northallerton

Due to the current Human Resources Assistant going on maternity leave at the end of the summer and an increasing workload within the department, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join The Kerfoot Group from September 2010, assisting the Group Head of Human Resources in the day-to-day running of the department.

The successful candidate will be based in our newly refurbished Head Office, with on-site gym facilities, in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, although there will be an expectation for them to travel between our other sites in Goole, East Yorkshire.  It is imperative the selected candidate is able to work with highly confidential information in a discreet manner and willing to be flexible between tasks and departments according to where the pressure points are.  A CIPD qualification would be preferred although not essential.
