Phil’s Warriors

On December 9 2016 NPG came together to raise funds for our Local charity of the year….Phil’s Warriors and they did it the only way they know how….with Food!

The usual suspects in the Technical team “pulled” out all the stops and made an array of mouthwatering dishes – Pulled Pork, Pulled Beef and Gammon together with everything you need to make a hot sandwich including superb Crackling, Roast potatoes and Gravy. Of course there were plenty of buns, cakes and biscuits

The first ever Northallerton 10K

Sunday morning 29th May 2016 saw the first Northallerton 10K with all proceeds going to the Pendragon Community Trust. Specifically helping towards the development of a multi-sensory centre caring for people with a wide range of disabilities. A well worthy charity that we are all aware of here at The Kerfoot Group.
The event was the very first of its kind to take place in the town and proved to be a sell-out with 600 participants keen to be part of this memorable day.

Get your Lycra on!

At the Kerfoot group we have decided to support a different charity every quarter. We got our employees to nominate and vote on the charities they would like us as a company to support throughout 2016.
Over the coming week we have charity events going on at all out sites in aid of Alzheimer’s’ society. For this event we have decided to do a 12 Hour Sponsored Bike Ride – HOW CRAZY!
We are going to keep the wheels turning on an exercise bike for a full 12 hours in reception

Kerfoot Factories vs. Kerfoot HQ

On any given Sunday…

Reporting from the goal mouth: Thomas Kerfoot (aka The Cat Jnr).
17th August 2014, Victoria Pleasure Ground, Goole.

It has been talked about for so long, finally the clash of Olive House (OH) vs. Goole Factories (GF) finally took place. The sun shone for this righteous occasion where the finest pen pushers of the north were to take on the muscle of Goole at the Victoria Pleasure Grounds, Goole.

On Saturday 12th April

Witton, Middleham and the Gallops, East Witton and finally

A tin of luminous spray paint, cool man and some rum punch

The clapped out minibus screeched to a noisy stop and Willies gold teeth glinted in the mid-day sun. It was like looking at a pot of gold.

‘Ok man, need a ride?’

‘Well yes do you know anywhere I can buy a tin of
spray paint?

‘Hanks shack man. Cool’

‘Can you take me there please?

‘Cool man’

Atlantic Row 2013

A year ago this month we were getting enthusiastic at the prospects of Dan Howie from Northallerton (and old school pal of Tom Kerfoot!) and London based Will North facing the challenge of their lives by competing in The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Rowing Race. Well  I’m here to tell you that THEY HAVE DONE IT!!

Our two salty seadogs ‘ Atlantic Row 2013’

As ‘Movember’ draws to a close across the Kerfoot Group the gentlemen in head office enjoyed some moustache shaped biscuits today to celebrate the end of a successful months growth!

The edible moustaches were not as smart as the real things but great fun to flag the final week. Thank you to all who took part across the whole business. Another batch of biscuits made their way to Goole ready for the end of November.

A fantastic cause and thank you chaps for being such great

UPDATE – 2 men, 1 small boat, 3,000 miles of rowing…

On Saturday 16th November Dan Howie and Will North left London to start their journey rowing across the Atlantic. With only 13 days left to go until departure day they are now in La Gomera preparing themselves and the boat for the epic challenge.

The Kerfoot Group are delighted to be sponsoring Will and Dan but also so proud that our finest Extra Virgin Olive Oil will be drunk on a daily basis by the boys! The ultimate fuel
