An Incredible BRC Result!

The Kerfoot Group

It’s always great to receive praise for our efforts, but this week The Kerfoot Group have achieved what can only be described as an INCREDIBLE result.

After successful completion of the BRC audit, the James Street and South Street (Bulk Terminal) sites in Goole are to be awarded A grades for the Global Standard for Food Safety v6 and the Global Standard for Storage and Distribution v2, both of which were introduced at the beginning of 2012 along with New Potter Grange site receiving Grade A BRC v5 in December 2011.
The auditor also confirmed that currently there is no other business in our industry that holds certification to both the Food Safety and the Storage and Distribution standards.

The process involves a thorough investigation into the Quality Management Systems, including the ability to produce documentation to verify source, process and distribution channels. Cleanliness and compliance with industry regulations were also demonstrated to be of the highest standards.

The audit result, while greatly appreciated should come as no surprise to anyone familiar with the family business.

This sends out a clear message to our customer base that we consistently work to the highest standards possible within our technical, manufacturing and logistics divisions.
As our customers and industry partners will be aware, The Kerfoot Group aim to operate to the highest standards. In doing so, we know that can compete, not only on price, but also on quality and technical support.
