Tuesday 5th June 2015 is a landmark date in the Kerfoot Group’s already successful history. On this date work commenced on the much anticipated Van Gogh Tank Project at our Goole site, which is anticipated to be completed by late autumn.
The Van Gogh Project is set to develop 12 brand new 304L Oil storage tanks that will complement the current tanks standing at the South Street compound.
Away from Site the commissioned tanks are being produced by Robert Sanderson and Sons in Hull, with gauges starting to be fixed, delivery of the first four tanks is set to be taken before September.
Shanco Contracts Ltd has been appointed the role as Principle Contractor, having successfully worked on projects in Grimsby, Redcar and Wakefield.
With piling work commencing, The Kerfoot Group’s Goole Terminal is currently a hub of activity, prepping the site in anticipation for deliverance of the tanks for this exciting development.
Using local contractors and local specialist suppliers fits in to an ethos that The Kerfoot Group continues to work towards through sustainability. Not only boosting the local economy but also ensuring that The Kerfoot Group’s family values and heritage continue to shine through.
With project Van Gogh, The Kerfoot Group has invested over £1.5 million into in order to continue to provide cutting edge development and meet the growing demand for oil internationally.
