KERFOOT GROUP HELPS CHARITY TO FLY!

A donation from The Kerfoot Group is being used to finalise a project which has seen young people from Goole build a light aircraft from scratch!
The £500 donation has been spent on the final parts needed to finish the, Spirit of Goole, aircraft.
Jack Milnes, chairman of The Spirit Of Goole charity. said: “Without the support of companies like The Kerfoot Group, projects like these would not be able to inspire young people from our area.

Northallerton 10k

The Kerfoot Group was delighted to sponsor & support a fantastic new event in Northallerton over the bank holiday weekend. Northallerton hosted its very first 10K race, starting and finishing on the high street. The event attracted thousands of spectators around the course and 600 runners on the day.

Charity Bike Ride

Following on from the blog about our 12 hour Sponsored Bike ride in aid of the ‘Alzheimer’s Society’ charity on Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd April, here’s the news you’ve all ben waiting for………….the amount raised! The event was staged across all 3 of our sites, The Olive House in Northallerton, KPO Factory at James Street in Goole and the New Potter Grange road site where our KSO and KVO factories are based.

Movember

As ‘Movember’ draws to a close across the Kerfoot Group the gentlemen in head office enjoyed some moustache shaped biscuits today to celebrate the end of a successful months growth!

The edible moustaches were not as smart as the real things but great fun to flag the final week. Thank you to all who took part across the whole business. Another batch of biscuits made their way to Goole ready for the end of November.

Red Nose Day

The Kerfoot Group celebrated Red Nose Day on Friday 15th March in style!

 

At our Headquarters, The Olive House in Northallerton, our generous staff donated their spare change & raised a total of £58.81 for Comic Relief. The day’s activities included a Wear Red dress down day, a sweepstake & an amazing red nose cake by Mary “Berry” Robson, Group Receptionist.

Sleeping Rough for Charity

The Kerfoot Group has charitable giving at its core & one extremely important cause that we have supported is homelessness, particularly with young people. SASH (Safe & Sound Homes) is a charity that provides temporary accommodation for homeless young people in the homes of volunteers. Last year they provided 840 nights of accommodation across North Yorkshire & saw a 90% increase in demand for their services.
