Kerfoot has announced that it can now supply Liquid Soap 2020, a brand new liquid multipurpose soap formulation developed by Stephenson, market leaders in specialty soap bases.

The soap has been specially formulated in light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and is designed to act as a versatile all-purpose ingredient to fill a variety of roles. Liquid Soap 2020 joins the impressive roster of soap bases and ingredients available from Kerfoot.

The versatile liquid soap is derived from vegetable oils and fatty acids and is suitable for an extensive range of hygiene applications. Liquid Soap 2020 is surfactant free, and contains no parabens, mineral oil compounds, sulfates (SLS & SLES) or glycols. Liquid Soap 2020 is available in 5kg kegs or 1000kg IBCs. The soap benefits from the extensive logistical expertise of Kerfoot and is expected to play a key role in today’s hygiene and personal care market.

Simon Corner, Sales and Marketing Director at Kerfoot, commented: “We’re delighted to add Liquid Soap 2020 to our portfolio. We have a fantastic relationship with Stephenson, and we’re excited to see this adaptable, quality soap bring a fresh lease of life to existing formulations.

“It can truly do it all. It’s suitable for personal care products, including handwash, bodywash and shampoos, and is equally effective in home cleaning products, such as surface and floor cleaners. It’s not often that a single liquid soap can offer such diversity in a single formulation.“

The soap is flexible, stable and impressively neutral, with a translucent pale yellow colour. Liquid Soap 2020 can be thickened with the addition of salt and essential oils or fragrance can be added if required.

Kerfoot hosts an enviable portfolio of soap bases, essential oils and carrier oils, as well as exfoliators, waxes, infusions and extracts and is constantly on the look-out for the next new personal care product trends. Kerfoot understands the need for bespoke and innovative new product design and has the expertise to support businesses throughout the personal care product development process.

Simon concluded: “As we move through the ongoing pandemic, our customers look to us to provide quality soaps and oils backed by a robust supply chain to ensure ingredients are always where they need to be and with the appropriate provenance and authenticity consumers demand. We’ve built a hard-fought reputation on being a full end-to-end partner and offering Liquid Soap 2020 is the next step in supporting our customers, whatever the circumstance.”
