At Kerfoot Group we are always on the lookout for high calibre individuals to join our incredible team. If you are talented and hardworking with a passion for what you do, we would love to hear from you.
“As Quality Assurance Manager, I am responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system across all production sites in Goole. “I carry out site HACCP studies and processes, internal auditing and complaint investigation, and generally ensure all sites are maintaining hygienic site standards and are audit ready at the same time.”
“No two days are the same! My role involves everything from inspecting a land tank, briefing staff on Good Manufacturing Practice ( GMP), to being challenged on the company’s Quality Management System or on a call with a packaging supplier investigating an issue or requesting information.
“While some days can be challenging, the Kerfoot team help me through the day and make it enjoyable!”
“I work closely across all departments including sales, logistics and technical, as Production Manager. Responsible for the safety, people and production at our refined oils sites, I plan manpower and order all consumables to make sure everyone is safe, and the product is filled.
“Solving solutions, I gather team insights to make sure everything runs smoothly. This might be changing the way a task is approached, writing new processes or communicating process improvements across the business.
“I appreciate the fact my opinion is always taken on board and I am trusted to make important decisions. Support is also always available from the Kerfoot team when needed.”
“Managing the top tier accounts for Personal Care and Pharmaceutical Oils, I spend my days liaising with customers on their latest requirements to provide the solution needed for their latest formulation.
“It’s never a dull day in this target-driven, fast paced role! With my excellent team I make sure I am equipped with in-depth knowledge of the Speciality Oils product range to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, ensuring they are well briefed with the latest market information and provided with the perfect Kerfoot solution.
“My team make all the difference and are always available to help out. They’re all from different backgrounds and have so much knowledge which I can pull and learn a lot from. The office environment is vibrant and dynamic which means no two days are the same!”
“Just go straight to the second sentence in the current profile….I deal with picking and packing orders.”
“I enjoy being responsible for the whole process from start to finish. While most of my day is spent working on my own initiative, regular communication between goods in, the technical team and production maintains that teamwork interaction.”
“A rigid Health and Safety agenda, close-knit team and someone always willing to lend a helping hand makes my day.”
“Managing a portfolio of accounts, negotiating contracts and offering covering advice are some of the many tasks I carry out as Refined Oils Sales Executive. Most importantly, I make sure the entire division as a whole hit its targets.”
“Not one day is the same in this fast-paced role. There are many factors which affect market movements and pricing on a daily basis, meaning I need to be constantly switched on and on my toes. For example, currency movements, crude oil pricing and the weather worldwide all play a major role!”
“I’ve always been presented with opportunity at Kerfoot, ever since starting out at the company eight years ago. It has helped me grow both professionally and as an individual and now that we are part of global group Avril, the company is only looking one way – and that’s up! I am looking forward to the many more opportunities to develop in the group over the coming years.”
