"Smile for Moldova!"

It was about this time last year you may recall we asked for support in sending out warm clothes.......and what a response we received! Not only did we send a truck load which arrived the day before Christmas Eve, we also sent a further 8 pallets in the Summer. As you know it was a tremendous success and you contributed to making a real difference to people’s lives.

This year we are opening our appeal until the 28th November for the following items-

Shoeboxes!
Simply decide-

Adult /male / female /baby /teenager/ OAP (There are a lot of old people in the villages with no one to care for them)
Age range
Fill your box and label as above
Secure with rubber band

Yes make up your own boxes as Christmas gifts to people who will have very little at Christmas tide apart from trying to survive. It costs so little because the things we take for granted as everyday items are luxuries from their viewpoint.... Soap, socks, toothbrush, chocolate, gloves, soft toys, hair accessories, felt pens, pencils, notepad, stickers, comb, hairclip, flannel, sweets, bangles....the list is endless as long as they are safe and fit into a shoebox.

Glasses! These are gladly received either loose or in cases it does not matter. There is a great shortage as people cannot afford to buy them.
